Civil Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Port Harcourt for a Civil Designer.
The Civil Designer will develop and review civil engineering designs, prepare site plans, and oversee erosion control measures.
The role includes planning and implementing stormwater and stormwater management systems, ensuring designs adhere to industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate and efficient solutions will also be a key responsibility.

Qualifications

Civil Engineering Design skills with experience creating technical drawings and design plans.
Proficiency in Erosion Control methods and solutions.
Experience developing Site Plans and layouts for construction and infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of Stormwater and Stormwater Management systems with an understanding of compliance and sustainable practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
Prior work experience in the oilfield or energy sector would be an advantage.
