Overview

A Panel Beater is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels and restoring them to their original condition.
The role involves working on vehicles that have been involved in accidents or have general wear and tear, ensuring high-quality finishing and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
Repair dents, scratches, and damaged panels using specialized tools and equipment
Remove and replace damaged panels where necessary
Straighten vehicle frames and realign chassis components
Fill, sand, and smooth surfaces in preparation for painting
Work closely with spray painters to ensure a high-quality finish
Use welding equipment and other tools safely and effectively
Ensure all repairs meet safety and manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Keep accurate records of work carried out

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Panel Beater for a minimum of 10 years
Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and tools
Ability to use welding and panel beating equipment
Good understanding of vehicle structures and materials
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical strength and staminer

Working Conditions:
