Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Senior Costing Analyst / Coordinator to oversee cost management and optimization.
The role involves analyzing cost structures, improving cost efficiency, and supporting strategic financial decisions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain standard costing systems for products and operations.
Perform detailed cost analysis and track cost drivers across departments.
Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/standard) and provide insights.
Prepare periodic cost reports and dashboards for management review.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate cost data.
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to manage costs.
Monitor inventory costing and ensure proper valuation and reconciliation.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Assist in pricing decisions based on cost and margin analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
5 – 7 years of experience in costing, financial analysis, or similar role.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret financial data and present insights clearly.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CFA) is an added advantage.
Experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or FMCG industries..
